Both Carole Vukmer and Bob Hughey are US Coast Guard licensed Captains and Ohio licensed guides with over 50 years experience.Captain Carole is a U.S. Coast Guard licensed captain and Ohio licensed guide with over 30 years fishing experience on Lake Erie. Being a licensed guide has allowed her to share her knowledge and joy of fishing with men, women and children. Captain Carole encourages light tackle fishing and she has held several World Class Catch & Release records on Lake Erie.
As a member of Ohio State Sea Grant Program, we are trying to do our part to maintain and improve the Great Lakes for future years. Captain Carole participates with the Kent State University Research team Sea Grant Program in the collection of samples from Lake Erie.
